NEW MULTI-FUNCTION POWER PANEL DISPLAYS
THREE PHASE VOLTS, AMPS, WATT/VARS & WH/VARH
ANALOG AND DIGITAL OUTPUTS
Pasadena, CA: Arga Controls has developed a MULTI-FUNCTION
digital panel meter with digital and analog transducer outputs. This unit
is ideal for substation automation. The Power Panel 2000 is self contained
with true RMS sensing and is packaged in a convenient 19 inch rack mount
(3.50" height). This revolutionary meter is designed for simplicity, dependability,
and accuracy.
THE POWER PANEL 2000 takes
three current and voltage inputs and subsequently displays them as well
as Watt, Var, Watt Hour, and Var Hours. The accuracy is .2%, and 0.6" greater
than 20 ft. LCD displays are used for Watt/Var Hours. Outputs for all
parameters are available with these options: 0 to 1mA, 0 to 5VDC, 4 to
20mADC, and digital (RS 232 or RS 485). Pulse outputs are available for
Watt/Var Hours. Auxiliary Power is 115VAC/125VDC (others available).
Digital outputs using RS 485 two wire can be transmitted directly to
a RTU, PLC, PC or connected to other IEDS that use DNP 3.0 or Modbus
protocols.
This unit eliminates costly training. It is not necessary to push buttons or scroll to operate this unit. It replaces over 20 individual instruments. Virtually anyone can instantly see the primary readings to analyze system condition.
All Arga meters are designed and manufactured in the U.S.A. Delivery is stock to 8 weeks with a full year warranty, Software support is available.

DIGITAL SWITCHBOARD METERS AND TRANSDUCERS
AVAILABLE WITH RE485 COMMUNICATIONS
COMPATIBLE WITH HARRIS DNP3.0 PROTOCOL
June 1, 1994: Arga Controls, manufacturer of precision instrumentation for power measurement, designed for the Power Industry, has made available its RS485 communication. The output comes directly from the meters or transducers. The protocol used is Harris DNP3.0.
All units presently manufactured are available with this output. These devices talk on a 2 wire net. This same line can support up to 99 channels of data. The output replaces the analog output used to transmit directly into an RTU of a SCADA system. These units can also be connected to other IEDs (Intelligent electronic Devices) that use the Harris DNP3.0.
The output is available in single and multi-function instruments, i.e. Wattmeter or WatWar/Power Factor Meter, up to 4 channels per unit. Like all meters/transducers from Arga Controls, these new units are American designed and manufactured. Delivery is, stock to 8 weeks, with a full 2-year warranty. Software support is available.
